What is Advanced Go Fish?

A New Version of an Old Classic

We all know Go Fish is a rather simple game where the player tries to gather as many sets of cards as he or she can in an attempt to beat the other players. Since the game is simple, it gets boring and is more of a child's game. Well, Advanced go Fish is here to change that. Advanced go Fish adds the idea of quantity to the game. Suddenly, by adding one simple rule, the game becomes twice as challenging, and as a result, twice as fun! How does this work? Click on How to Play to find out! 

How Advanced Go Fish Came to be:

Ever since I was young, my family would occasionally play card games. Since we weren’t in to “big” card games like poker, Go Fish seemed to be the game of choice, due to it's simple play. A couple years ago, (when I was 14) and my younger brother (for the third time in a row!) guessed what card I held. Through gritted teeth, I asked, “How many do you want?” A few games later, we implemented the question into the game as an “official” rule, forcing people who guessed too many to “go fish” and those who guessed too few to only receive that number of cards. Advanced Go Fish was born!
